Joel and Murielle Pécourneau, their two daughters, Emilie, 15, and her little sister Lola, form a united family of farmers, despite the debts that accumulate to save their farm. While her father's life is on hold and the future of the farm is greatly threatened, Emilie decides to publicize her story, mobilizing as many people as possible around her parents' cause. Will Emilie, a farmer's daughter, succeed in saving her family?
